Castrol Braycote 2115 (Castrol Braycoat 2115, former product name Molub-Alloy (Morab alloy) 2115) is a lubricant for bearings based on synthetic oils based on base oils with excellent stability at high temperatures. It mixes high-quality synthetic oil and unsaponifiable thickeners with excellent stability at high temperatures. Braycote 2115 combines high performance additives and solid lubricants to provide superior antiwear properties. It is also designed to significantly increase bearing life and lubrication cycles at high temperatures compared to general purpose lubricants.
Scope of application
Braycote 2115 was designed primarily to extend the life of bearings in a conveyor furnace. Recommended for use in bearings where minimal lubricating and extreme pressure properties are required, such as paint dryers and textile frames.
Braycote 2115 can be used continuously at 250 ° C / 482 ° F and in the short term up to 280 ° C / 536 ° F. Forced ventilation is required at temperatures above 200 ° C.
Braycote 2115 can be used in manual and automatic lubrication systems.
