Castrol Longtime PD 00 is a grease for anti-friction bearings with a reservoir for grease and leaking gearboxes. A grease is a grease that, depending on the load, may exhibit the properties of a solid or liquid. At light loads, lubricants can retain their shape without flowing down from a vertical surface and, thus, being held in unsealed friction units.
Application area
- Metallurgical industry. For parts and assemblies of fans, autoclaves, drying ovens, blowers, etc. use special high-temperature greases that are resistant to pressure, shock loads and provide functional reliability in a wide temperature range.
- Mining. There are greases specially created for the processing of parts of machinery operating in difficult conditions. In this case, these lubricants exhibit excellent emergency anti-seize ability, water resistance and protect parts from corrosion and wear.
- Marine industry. At the moment, special lubricants have been developed for components and parts of water technology, which are 100% resistant to sea and fresh water, providing good protection against corrosion.
