Scope of application
Castrol Longtime PD 1.5 can be used for long-term or lifetime lubrication of rolling and plain bearings operating under the most difficult operating conditions, such as extremely high pressure, vibration, shock loads and a wide temperature range. It can also be used for spinning wheel bearings and grinding spindles, impact gear motors, sorting machines / cross-planing machines, and for work surfaces of printing plates. In addition, Castrol Longtime PD 1.5 is suitable for bearings with a rotating outer ring, which are subjected to high stress due to centrifugal loading, such as impregnating roller bearings, roll mill necks and bearings with a variable direction of rotation or rotary movement.
It can also be used for couplings with curved teeth and central lubrication systems.
In addition, Castrol Longtime PD 1.5 is suitable for use in gearboxes whose housing is not oil-tight, in gears and roller bearings with a grease reservoir.
