Scope of application
Castrol Longtime PD 1 can be used for long-term or lifetime lubrication of rolling and plain bearings operating under the most difficult operating conditions, such as extremely high pressure, vibration, shock loads and a wide temperature range. It can also be used for spinning wheel bearings and grinding spindles, impact gear motors, sorting machines / cross-planing machines, and for work surfaces of printing plates. In addition, Castrol Longtime PD 1 is suitable for bearings with a rotating outer ring, which are subjected to high stress due to centrifugal loading, such as impregnating roller bearings, roll mill necks and bearings with a variable direction of rotation or rotary movement.
It can also be used for couplings with curved teeth and central lubrication systems.
In addition, Castrol Longtime PD 1 is suitable for use in gearboxes whose housing is not oil-tight, in gears and roller bearings with a grease reservoir.
