The Molub-Alloy ™ 243 Arctic Grease is designed for plain and rolling bearings operating at temperatures down to -54 ° C. Meets the requirements of MIL-G-10924C.
To effectively lubricate bearings at low temperatures, it is essential that the grease maintain its consistency. Hardened grease can cause the sliding of the rolling elements of the bearing, which leads to increased wear and, ultimately, to failure of the site.
An equally important characteristic of lubricants for regions with a cold climate is the ability to prevent corrosion. At significant temperature differences from the nominal operating temperature to extremely low when idle at night, moisture from the air precipitates on cooled metal surfaces and bearings under such conditions are subject to corrosion. Molub-Alloy 243 Arctic Grease fully meets the above requirements, important for regions with a cold climate. In addition, the antiwear properties of the lubricant are enhanced by a specialized combination of Molub-Alloy solid components.
Contains oxidation and corrosion inhibitors effective in low temperature conditions. The proportions and size of Molub-Alloy solids provide them with a natural affinity for metal surfaces.
Application area
- It can be used as universal lubrication of rolling and plain bearings at temperatures from -54 ° C to 79 ° C.
- It is mainly used in transport and handling equipment in the Arctic regions or in refrigerated areas of industrial equipment.
- Lubrication at subzero temperatures must be carried out manually.
