Scope of application
Castrol Molub-Alloy 8031 / 3000-00 grease is intended for the lubrication of heavily loaded open gears, screw drives, bushings and bearings operating from low to medium speeds and equipped with a centralized lubrication system or “embedded” lubricant. The lubricant is recommended for use in open gearboxes in cement, mining and other industrial areas where protection against scoring and wear is required, and the build-up of the product layer on the equipment is undesirable. It is also suitable for assemblies with bushings, bearings and / or gears that require lubricants with a viscosity complying with ISO 1500, 3000 or 6000, but conventional liquid lubricants flow.

- Minimizes the risk of clogging of distribution lines - reduces the possibility of clogging of distribution lines (distribution) of lubricant, which usually occurs when using traditional lubricants.
- It is easily pumped and perfectly distributed on the surface - excellent distribution of lubricant in closed and semi-closed applications, merges well, simplifying removal. In addition, this product is specifically designed to flush out gear and side gear contaminants and prevent them from accumulating at the base of the teeth.
- Good thixotropic properties - the grease has a stable form at rest, but becomes mobile when shaking, so it does not drain from the gear teeth. Nevertheless, it is easily and evenly distributed on the surface, since the gel-like lubricant “melts” under the influence of pressure and removes heat and pollutants.
- It is developed taking into account environmental standards - does not contain solvents, lead, antimony and barium.
