Castrol Alpha ™ SP is a series of high quality gear oils based on highly refined mineral oil. They contain improved extreme pressure additives that provide excellent heat resistance and high load bearing capacity. The advanced extreme pressure additives system not only provides high load-bearing capacity, but also protects the surface from wear at the microscopic level.
Application
Alpha SP oils are recommended for the lubrication of industrial gearboxes with forced circulation or oil injection systems, as well as with gears immersed in an oil bath. Can be used to lubricate spur and helical gears and some lightly loaded worm gears.
