Klubersynth GEM 2-220 - synthetic gear oils based on esters. They have excellent viscosity-temperature properties, and a wide range of operating temperatures. They also provide good protection against corrosion, wear, have good adhesive properties and high resistance to oxidation and aging.
According to CEC-L-33-A-94, the degree of biological decay after 21 days is more than 70%.
Klubersynth GEM 2-220 is a fully synthetic high performance biodegradable lubricant with WGK 1 (inevitable contact of the lubricating oil with the environment, soil or water). It is used for chain lubrication (for operation at ordinary temperatures, escalator chains, chains in agriculture and forestry), for cables (not for ropes with drive pulleys!). Oils of the Klubersynth GEM 2 series have found application in spur, helical and worm gears, as well as in the assemblies associated with them - sliding and rolling bearings. They are especially recommended when oil leaks can severely pollute the environment.
