Silicone grease (Code: )

Silicone aerosol grease is used for the purpose of effective lubrication and long-term protection of products from moisture and corrosion.

Silicone grease is commonly used to lubricate and preserve rubber parts such as o-rings. In addition, silicone grease does not loosen or soften rubber (these problems can occur with hydrocarbon-based lubricants). It also functions as a corrosion protection and lubricant for parts that require coating.

Application area

Silicone grease is often used in everyday life for lubricating locks, hinges, lightly loaded gearboxes (for example, in printers). Enthusiasts can use it to lubricate the mechanisms of a fountain pen, protect the sealing rings of flashlights, to seal a waterproof watch, or to seal mechanisms of an air rifle.

Silicone grease is also widely used in remote-controlled models, especially floating ones.

It differs from mineral lubricants in a wide range of operating temperatures (from -60 ° C to + 300 ° C) and a small temperature dependence of viscosity.

Silicone grease has good dielectric properties, has no smell and taste, does not cause negative reactions in humans. In addition, it is economical, convenient and safe to use.
