VNIINP-293 grease is a soft gray ointment with a pink tint. The composition is close to the grease VNIINP-274. It differs in that it is made on a polymethylsiloxane liquid, which has the worst anti-wear, but the best low-temperature properties.

Application area
Instrument lubrication VNIINP-293 can be recommended only for lightly loaded bearings with a rotation speed of up to 1000 rpm. When tested on a friction machine, it provides low wear and low friction coefficients for pairs of ruby steel and brass steel. Recommended for miniature rolling bearings of devices at temperatures up to 150 ° C and in high vacuum.
