The first thing worth noting is saving money when buying an I-40. Indeed, any technical catalog will confirm - I-40A is the most low-cost composition available on the market today, among lubricants with a similar degree of viscosity.
An equally important advantage is the easy replacement with analogues that are suitable in composition and technical characteristics. For example, instead of I-40A grease, you can use alloy oil of the IGP brand, though with the caveat for selection according to viscosity class. The choice of an analogue is not limited to domestic manufacturers; there are also import substitutes. However, their price is higher, and the problem with the selection of viscosity does not disappear anywhere.
The antioxidant, anticorrosive and lubricating properties of the I-40 industrial oil are well suited for lubricating cardan joints in automobile gearboxes, replacing expensive auto oils, thereby reducing the cost of maintenance for the car owner.
