K-17 oil (Code: )

K-17 oil is made from a mixture of aviation MS-20 and transformer T-1500 oils with the addition of oxidized petrolatum, SKB-45 rubber and an additive composition.

Application area

K-17 oil is used for long-term (5 years or more) preservation of products, including spare parts from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stored without direct impact of climatic factors. Internal combustion engines canned without dismantling: drain regular oil, turn off the filters, pump K-17 oil, remove excess oil. To put the engine into operation, just fill it with standard oil. Preservation of spare parts is carried out by repeatedly dipping them in a bath with oil or rubbing oil with a brush on the surface of the part. In addition, K-17 oil can be used as an additive to high-sulfur gas turbine fuels (0.002% for fuel). This significantly reduces the corrosion of the fuel equipment of the engines and increases the overhaul period of their work.
