They are used for long-term (5 years or more) conservation of products, including spare parts from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stored without direct impact of climatic factors. Internal combustion engines canned without dismantling: drain regular oil, turn off the filters, pump K-17 oil, remove excess oil. K-17 oil can be used as an additive to high-sulfur gas turbine fuels (0.002% for fuel). This significantly reduces the corrosion of the fuel equipment of the engines and increases the overhaul period of their work.
