Oil MS-8p according to OST 38 101163-78 - is intended for gas turbine engines of subsonic and supersonic aircraft, in which the temperature of the oil leaving the engine is not more than 150 ° C.
Application area
MS-8P oil is used as a part of oil mixtures with aviation oil MS-20 (in the ratio of 25:75, 50:50 and 75:25) in turboprops in engines, as well as for preservation of oil systems of aircraft engines. Apply in ship gas turbine installations and in gas pumping units. Aviation oil MS-8P was developed to replace MK-8 and MK-8p; it significantly surpasses them in a number of operational indicators, in particular in viscosity at low temperatures, thermo-oxidative stability, and service life.
Benefits
- Provides reliable lubrication
- Minimum wear of all engine components and assemblies within operating temperatures from -50 to +200 ° С.
