Mobilgard ADL is a series of oils with increased dispersing ability, designed for medium and high speed diesel engines with high average effective pressure, operating on distillate and medium diesel fuels. These state-of-the-art oils are available in SAE 30 and 40 and meet the viscosity requirements of most marine marine engines. Due to a specially selected combination of detergent and dispersant characteristics, these oils not only have an improved ability to prevent the formation of varnish deposits under difficult conditions, but also contribute to the removal of dirt and deposits.
Benefits
- Extended cylinder life without major repairs;
- Reduced cylinder polishing;
- Superior wear protection
- Reduced oil consumption;
- Reducing the formation of varnish deposits in the cylinder;
- Higher engine cleanliness;
- Reducing contamination of piston ring grooves;
- Extended periods between oil changes;
- Increased oxidative and thermal stability;
- Applicability for the most various types of engines (different manufacturers, sizes, speeds).
Scope of application
Mobilgard ADL series oils are designed for engines with a high average effective pressure and highly loaded engines, the characteristics of the fuels and the operation of which require a higher dispersing ability and the ability to prevent the formation of varnish deposits than is usual for most oils currently produced.
With rigorous field trials on numerous of the latest diesel engines, including MAN-B & W Alpha, Caterpillar (3600), Deutz and Stork Werkspoor engines, Mobilgard ADL Series oils showed superior performance.
When using previously produced high-quality oils, in some cases, fuel and operating conditions contributed to the formation of varnish deposits in the cylinder, high oil consumption and the formation of deposits. When using Mobilgard ADL series oils, these difficulties are eliminated, oil consumption is drastically reduced and service life is greatly extended until overhaul.
Mobilgard ADL 30 and 40 are API CD approved and meet the requirements of most engine manufacturers. These modern diesel oils provide superior water separation and corrosion protection. Their FZG is 12, which makes these oils excellent for ultra high pressure gears.
