The Mobilgear ™ XMP Series Heavy Duty Industrial Transmission Oils are formulated to provide optimum equipment protection and oil life even under extreme conditions. The Mobilgear XMP series is based on high quality mineral base components and an advanced patented additive system designed to provide superior protection against traditional wear conditions such as abrasion, but also with a high level of resistance to micropitting fatigue. It also makes it possible to improve the lubrication of the rolling bearings of the gearbox. Mobilgear XMP Series products provide superior rust and corrosion protection compared to conventional gear oils, including protection against seawater and acidic water. They have no tendency to clog fine filters even when wet and combine perfectly with ferrous and non-ferrous metals even at elevated temperatures.

Mobilgear XMP lubricants are recommended for enclosed industrial gears, including spur gears, spur gears and bevel gears. Especially recommended for applications that may be susceptible to micropitting: especially for loaded gearboxes with surface-hardened teeth. It can also be used in gears and where corrosion can be severe.
