The Mobil Glygoyle ™ series lubricants are highly efficient gear oils, bearings and compressors that provide exceptionally high lubrication efficiency, long oil life and reliable equipment protection. These fully synthetic polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricants have been designed for use in operating conditions beyond the capabilities of other synthetic lubricants and mineral oils. The low freezing point provides excellent fluidity at low temperatures.
These ISO 150 to 1000 viscosity grade lubricants are NSF H1 registered and also comply with the requirements of CFR Section 178.3570 of the Food and Drug Administration of the US Food and Drug Administration for lubricants that may accidentally come into contact with food.
Advantages
- Exceptional fire-retardant properties and wear protection of responsible parts and components of the equipment
- High level of protection of responsible gears from micropitting of spot coloring
- Protection against rust and corrosion during operation
- Resistance to foaming
- Excellent lubrication characteristic of fully synthetic lubricants
- Low coefficient of friction that increases energy efficiency and reduces the average volumetric temperature of the oil and system
- Very good thermal oxidation stability, reducing the formation of sludge and sediment.
Scope of application
The Mobil Glygoyle series oils are specifically designed for lubrication of worm gears, especially for heavy duty applications in the food and other industries. The products in this family have also proven themselves to be excellent lubricants for various types of industrial gearboxes and rolling bearings operating in harsh environments. In addition, low miscibility with hydrocarbons makes oils with a lower viscosity particularly effective in compressing hydrocarbon gases. In these systems, the drop in viscosity slows down compared to hydrocarbon-based compressor oils.
