Mobil Pegasus 610 absorbs excess halogens and / or hydrogen sulfide contained in highly aggressive biogas.
Application area
- Mobil Pegasus 610 is suitable for use on older gas engine models that use copper-based bearing alloys. In addition, Mobil Pegasus 610 provides superior performance for biogas engines containing more than 1000 ppm of hydrogen sulfide and / or more than 60 ppm of chlorine;
- The excellent oxidation stability of Mobil Pegasus 610 is ensured by the use of highly refined paraffin base oils. Mobil Pegasus 610 oil also contains antiwear and detergent-dispersant additives. High ash content helps to keep combustion chambers clean and optimizes valve protection in the presence of aggressive biogas;
- There are two main types of gas engines, that is, with spark ignition and torch ignition (dual-fuel type). Mobil Pegasus 610 is primarily intended for use in higher demanding spark ignition engines.
Benefits
- Approved by major engine manufacturers;
- The reduced formation of deposits in the combustion chamber makes it suitable for higher temperatures in the combustion chamber;
Extended oil life;
- Effective prevention of valve wear;
- Reducing the amount of deposits associated with heat transfer;
- Low maintenance and long engine life
- High resistance to corrosion;
- High resistance to oxidation and nitration.
