Mobil SHC is a synthetic gear oil for bearings and gears. Mobil SHC 600 series oils are recommended for use in a variety of gears and bearings where high or low temperatures are encountered or where the working temperature or temperature in the oil volume is such that traditional lubricants do not provide satisfactory service life, or where increased performance lubricants are desired . They are especially effective when used in conditions of high maintenance costs, replacement of parts, cleaning the system and changing the oil.

• various bearings of rolls and screws operating at high temperature;
• calendars for plastics;
• heavy duty centrifuges, including marine centrifuges;
• AC traction drives used in railway technology;
• Mobil SHC 629, 630, 632, 634, 636 and 639 oils are approved by Siemens AG for use in Flender gearboxes.
