Scope of application
Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is formulated to meet the latest engine oil specifications of major automotive companies and is compatible with most state-of-the-art diesel particulate filters and all catalytic converters for gasoline engines.
Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is able to provide excellent performance at both very low and very high operating temperatures, as well as long-term protection of the engine against wear, sludge and deposits.
Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is especially recommended by ExxonMobil for use in Mercedes-Benz vehicles that require oil specification MB 229.31, 229.51 or 229.52, BMW vehicles that require oil specification Longlife Oil 04, and Volkswagen where oil according to specifications VW 502 00/505 00.
Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 is also recommended by ExxonMobil for use in Volkswagen TDI turbocharged diesel engines with pump nozzles (with a change interval of 15,000 km or 1 time per year), which require oils according to the VW 505 01 specification, as well as Ford Galaxy 1.9 liter turbocharged diesel engines that require oil specification VW 505 01 or Ford WSS-M2C917-A.
Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W-30 has been approved by General Motors for dexos2 ™ service support, which is required to service all new GM / Opel / Vauxhall / Chevrolet diesel and gasoline vehicles since 2010. GM / Opel reported that dexos2 ™ oils can replace oils according to earlier GM / Opel specifications (GM-LL-A-025 and GM-LL-B-025). Most GM / Opel / Vauxhall / Chevrolet diesel and gasoline vehicles can use dexos2 ™ certified oils.
