Mobil Velocite ™ series oils are products with improved performance, intended primarily for the lubrication of high-speed spindles in modern machine tools. They are also used in some critical hydraulic circulation and oil-air systems, where oil of the appropriate viscosity class is required.

Mobil Velocite ™ oils consist of high-quality low-viscosity base oils and additives that provide reliable oxidation resistance and corrosion and corrosion protection. They also have very good foaming resistance and are easily separated from water.

Areas of application

• High-speed spindle bearings in machine tools and equipment characterized by high speeds and very small clearances;
  Precision grinding, turning, boring and copying machines;
• Mobil Velocite No. 3 oil is recommended for "zero clearance" bearings, which are used in spindles and operate in extremely small clearances;
• For spindle plain bearings that have large gaps; the choice of viscosity depends on the ratio between the gap and the speed of rotation of the spindle;
• Low pressure hydraulic systems where appropriate viscosity is recommended.
