Mobilgard 570 is a high quality cylinder oil for marine diesel engines. The total alkaline number of which is 70, provides excellent protection of rings and cylinders and cleanliness when working in harsh conditions on fuels with sulfur content from less than 0.5% to 5%.

Scope of application

• Mobilgard 570 is designed for crosshead engines of marine vessels with increased power and fuel efficiency.
• Suchengines are characterized by higher temperatures and pressures in the cylinders, which reduces the viscosity of the oil and increases the load that it must withstand;
• The increased piston stroke significantly increases the surface area to be protected, and the time during which the oil must withstand the high temperature of the cylinder and the corrosive effect of sulfur-containing acids;
• Mobilgard 570 also showed excellent engine protection for older designs.
