Scope of application

• Mobiltherm 605 can be used in installations where the oil’s volumetric temperature reaches +290 ° C and the minimum stop temperature is -12 ° C. At temperatures exceeding the recommended maximum values, a steam plug may form if the system is not designed to operate at that temperature by creating an inert gas pressure such as nitrogen. At higher temperatures, the life of the oil is reduced, because at temperatures exceeding the recommended limit values, the rate of thermal decomposition increases markedly.
