AeroShell Oil W 100 - high-quality aviation lubricants based on high index mineral oils with ashless dispersant additives, designed for piston aircraft engines, including turbocharged and fuel injection.
Areas of use
Four-stroke piston aircraft engines, including turbocharged and injection engines. When using radial aircraft engines in moderate climatic conditions, AeroShell W 100 or AeroShell W 15W-50 oils are used, in winter - AeroShell Oil W 80, and at higher temperatures - AeroShell Oil W 120. AeroShell W series oils are not recommended for use in automotive engines.
Despite the fact that some manufacturers recommend using pure mineral oils to break in their aircraft engines, others, for example, manufacturers of the Lyco-ming O-320H engine, recommend using AeroShell W oils for these purposes.
Benefits
AeroShell W Oils were the first aviation piston engine oils to contain ashless dispersants. Developed on the basis of high index mineral oils with the addition of metal-free additives, they are characterized by excellent stability, dispersing and anti-foam properties.
Additives do not form ash residues, which could lead to the accumulation of deposits in the combustion chamber and on the spark plugs, which can cause premature ignition of the mixture and engine failure.
- Maintain engine cleanliness;
- Protect from deposits in the combustion chamber;
- Reduce fuel consumption
- Contribute to the extension of maintenance intervals;
- Protect highly loaded engine parts from scoring and wear.
