Shell Mysella is a lubricant for high-quality, natural gas-fueled, demanding engines requiring ashless products. Thanks to the ashless technology developed by Shell, the Shell Mysella family lubricant minimizes engine wear, helps to reduce deposits in the combustion chambers and exhaust openings, and prevents the increase in oil viscosity during operation.
Application area
Two- and four-stroke electric ignition engines using natural and liquefied petroleum gas as fuel and requiring the use of the following types of ashless oils: Allis-Chalmers, Ajax, Caterpillar (except 3400,3500,3600), Clark, Climax, Colt-Fairbanks Morse , Cooper-Bessemer (two-stroke), Dresser-Rand (categories I and II), International-Harvester, Waukesha, White Superior (naturally aspirated), Worthington.
Note: the product is not intended for use in gas powered automobile engines.
Benefits
- Excellent engine cleanliness
- New engines are almost not subject to deposits. Due to its washing ability Shell Mysella cleans a thick layer of soot from running engines that use lower quality oils. The purification takes place gradually, as a result of which the probability of clogging of oil filters by removed solid deposits is reduced.
- The minimum level of deposits in the cylinder.
- Thanks to the ashless composition of Shell Mysella oils, candles remain almost “like new”, their service life is limited only by erosion of the spark gap. The oil actually eliminates the knock and fire of the engine due to the absence of "hot spots".
- Clean cylinder bores
- Shell Mysella oils combine a low tendency to form carbon deposits with a strong washing system to avoid plugging holes in two-stroke engines.
- Wear protection
- Shell Mysella protects and minimizes scuffing during the start-up and run-in periods.
- Long oil and filter life
- Shell Mysella are resistant to nitration and oxidation, which cause solid deposits in the filter, increase viscosity and form acidic products.
