Scope of application
Shell Refrigeration Oil S4 FR-F 68 is recommended for use in open, semi-closed and hermetically sealed compressors using refrigerants such as R 134a, R 23, R 404A, R 407, R 507 and other mixtures of chlorofluorocarbons. Suitable for any industrial refrigeration equipment, domestic refrigerators, mobile and stationary air conditioning units.
When switching to the use of other refrigerants and refrigeration oils, the relevant requirements of the equipment manufacturers must be taken into account.
