Shell Omala HD, the new name Omala S4 GX is a synthetic gear oil for industrial gearboxes operating at constant high temperatures and some systems (gearboxes or bearings), designed for long intervals between oil changes or without changing it "lifetime lubrication". Formerly Shell Omala HD, it is compatible with Omala S4 GX and mineral oil and does not require special replacement procedures.
