Shell Tonna S3 M oils are specially formulated for slideways. Shell Tonna S3 M oils are based on highly refined mineral oils and contain additives that increase “stickiness”, anti-wear and anti-jump properties. Shell Tonna S3 M oils are especially recommended for low-speed machines designed for high-precision operations, as well as for machines with a combined lubrication system.

Application area

Sliding guides of machines, tables and feed mechanisms. Shell Tonna S3 M oils are designed to be used with most materials commonly used as sliding surfaces on machine guides, including cast iron and synthetic materials. Hydraulic systems of machines are especially recommended for installations with combined hydraulic system and guide lubrication system. Gearboxes and machine spindles Shell Tonna S3 M oils are suitable for use in the lubrication systems of gearboxes and the machine headstock. Shell Tonna S3 M 32 and 68 are recommended for horizontal rails; Shell Tonna S3 M 220 for vertical rails.
